The absolute best way to choose a caterer is to eat their
food. But, presentation follows a close second to taste. If you choose to caterer your wedding yourself or have
it catered by family or friends- just remember that the presentation is key. From a full sit down dinner to a dessert
only reception, anything goes these days. Try to keep it simple so that you don't waste money on food your guests will
not eat. Your more experienced caterers will help you plan the perfect menu!

TIP!!!- If you do it yourself, make sure to use pretty serving platters and bowls. Don't use plastic anything-
for serving- if at all possible. Plastic is fine for tableware. They make hard plastic plates that look and feel
like fine glassware- check the party stores or online! Also, don't forget to double your fork count to have plenty for the
cake! For napkins, buy just a few engraved and mix them with the napkins that coordinate with your wedding colors to keep
costs down! Above all plan your food carefully as it is very embarassing to run out of food.
